Overall our time at the Farmer's Market was successful. We were able to speak to numerous seniors every week and share information.

N. Salvage shared that a woman brought by jar openers and utensil holders as gifts for the committee, and members were welcome to take them home.

S. McDowell shared the results of the committee's application for the Seniors Community Grant.

The committee did not get the grant, however, we will be applying for other seniors grants in the future and continue with our planned projects.

T. McDowell and N. Salvage shared the success of the outreach booth at Music on the Lawn held at the Roselawn Centre on July 2st and August 5th.

They reported that the concert was fun, and a good opportunity to chat with seniors.

People had good questions, and grabbed many pamphlets from the table.

It was a senior heavy event and it was nice to be there.

It would have been nice to have a better sign. S. McDowell will look into prices for signs or a laminated poster that could be hung.

D. Santarella would like brochures and rack cards brought to Friends over 55 and the apartment building D. Santarella manages.

S. Brown suggested next year we invite Friends over 55 to join us at the Farmer's market.

Fall Harvest Festival - October 5th: S. McDowell will reach out to Rosemari Poisson about a table.

Portal Village Craft Show - November 15th: S. Brown is in charge of tables for this event. S. Brown will get us an outreach table.

Port Colborne Baptist Church Craft Show - December 7th: S. Brown is also involved in this show and will get us a table.

Motion to get outreach tables at all above events.

U. Hudson spoke of the Thorold Housing for Seniors information session on September 26th. The speaker starts at 8:30. S. McDowell will send poster over email.

U. Hudson spoke of an information session on the New Horizons Grant happening tomorrow. S. McDowell will try to attend if possible.

M. Aquilina reported that everything is still in the works for the Stop Gap program.

S. McDowell reported the Inclusive Communities Grant was applied for by the city, which includes the Stop Gap program. We are awaiting results for the application.

The Chair adjourned the meeting at approximately 10:38.
